Key Managers

Andon Ichev – Chairman
Prior to joining EON in 1998, Andon Ichev has more than four years of experience as investment analyst, investment manager, and senior investment manager at Caresbac – Bulgaria, a US venture capital firm, funded by the EBRD, USAID, and DEG. He is member of the Board of Directors of the American University in Bulgaria Alumni Association, the International Agency for Regional Development – Blagoevgrad, and the Foundation Southwest Bulgaria 2001. Andon holds a BA degree in Business Administration from the American University in Bulgaria. He has attended training courses and seminars at the Community Development Venture Capital Association (CDVCA) – USA, Ford foundation, Joint Vienna Institute (sponsored by EBRD, IMF, and the Austrian government).


Marin Karageorgiev – President
Prior to joining EON in 1998, Marin Karageorgiev has more than 4 years of managerial experience in the software development industry. He has worked for two years in one of the leading software development companies in Bulgaria, reaching the position of Vice President Administration and Finance. Marin holds a double major BA degree in Business Administration and History from the American University in Bulgaria.


Dimitar Keremedchiev – Senior Project Manager
Dimitar Keremedchiev has more than 8 years of professional experience in software development, engineering, and project management, planning and organization. He holds a BA degree in Computer Science from the American University in Bulgaria, and a Masters degree in Computer Science from the Sofia University.


Borimir Sabev – Senior Project Manager.

Borimir Sabev has more than 9 years of experience as professional software developer and project manager. Prior to joining EON, he worked as project manager for ESRI – Bulgaria. Borimir holds Masters degree in Computer Science from the Sofia University. He is Microsoft Certified Professional, winner of medals at mathematical competitions.


Teodora Treneva – CFO
Teodora Treneva has more than 9 years of financial and accounting experience. Prior to joining EON, she worked as CFO of Vladimir distillers, one of the largest Bulgarian alcohol and beverage companies. Teodora holds a Masters degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of National and World Economy in Bulgaria.
